TThe Geola G-MINI-B series is a family of flashlamp pumped Nd:YAG or Nd:YLF lasers producing emissions in the sub-nanosecond regime (0.8 - 0.1ns). The Lasers are based on temporal pulse compression by backward stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS). This ensures narrow spectral linewidth, transform limited sub-ns pulses. A high quality output beam distribution is achieved by efficient Phase Conjugation using a double-pass amplifier. Optional LabWindows based PC control of laser functions is available from touch screen panel with output energy plot.
G-Mini-B series lasers incorporates short-cavity master oscillator (M-O), Faraday isolator (FI), pulse compressor (PC), phase conjugated amplifier (AMPL), second & third harmonic converters (SHG, THG). Optional Red Diode Pointer combined with output radiation permits easy alignment of the external optical scheme.
The lasers produce close to Gaussian near-diffraction limited radiation at a variety of energies, wavelengths and repetition rates. Design features include highly stable passive or electro-optically Q-switched linear oscillators with self-seeding and negative feedback loop. SuperINVAR based resonator mounting is accomplished with multi-point active temperature distribution control of laser breadboard giving output energy stability only expected with more expensive diode pumped lasers.
A particular pulse duration should be specified on request in the range of 1ns - 100ps. Temporal jitter of the laser pulse is StDev ±0.5ns for EO Q-switch and ± 4ms for the passive.
Fundamental lasing is at either 1064, 1053 or 1047 nm. Optional frequency convertion to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th harmonics gives accordingly: 532, 526.5, 523.5, 355, 351, 349, 266, 263, 262 nm.
Below are listed standard laser configurations. In addition to these models custom lasers are available that cover a large parameter space.
